Warsaw Stock Exchange, MCI Management S.A. (a WSE listed VC fund) and New Europe Events decided to start hosting annual Venture Capital & Private Equity events in Poland to create a platform for discussion between investment funds (PE, VC), consulting firms, incubators, technology parks etc.

Such a community has a chance of shaping business practices and industry standards but most importantly it may bridge gaps and financing discontinuities between consequent development stages : idea incubation, seed, start-up, expansion, exit.

Another objective is to stimulate interest of the ICT industry in external financing and to increase the total amount of Euros invested in Polish ICT start-ups and growing companies.

TMT.Ventures'07 Warsaw Conference held on February 28th 2007 in Warsaw Stock Exchange gathered 170 entreprenuers and investment funds representatives.
